Let's Play: Rampage

I can't count how many afternoons I wasted with this one.

That punch in the stomach was uncalled for.

In Rampage you can play as  George the Great Ape, or Lizzie the Large Lizard. You go from one town to another smashing every building on sight. Well, they're not just going to hand over their town, they'll fight! You'll encounter cops, tanks, and even regular citizens will try to bring you down with a truck or some TNT.

There's also a two-player mode. You can work together or you can punch each other (it's more entertaining than it sounds, trust me).

I said it's MY building.

Inside the buildings you can find food, people (yeah, they're food as well) and bad things such as explosives and poison. Hey, you can eat a toilet.

That's nasty, I wouldn't recommend it. Seriously, don't.

So, plug that old NES and have some fun!

Music time: Therion

I don't have my next review just yet, so I thought I'd share some of my music with you.

Therion, they're a Swedish symphonic metal band founded in 1987. Therion's music takes its themes from different mythologies and is based on concepts ranging from occultism, magic and ancient traditions and writings.
I heard of them before going to college, but here is where I listen to them the most. I tend to listen when I need to study for my exams or basicaly anywhere in the university campus.

Here's a video of them and a couple more after the click!

Gameplay Trailer: Terraria

So, I came across this video the other day. It has a little of Minecraft in it, but it is a 2D side-scroller. It also reminded me of the Castlevania series.

What do you guys think?

Flash Games: Asteroids

It's always nice to destroy some space rocks.

Time to procrastinate!
Phew, phew, phew, phew.

Total F*cking Psychopath

Total F*cking Psychopath is an indie game you shouldn't miss.

Here's the description (taken from the official website):

It's a freeware action game of retro arcade style, in which you take on the role of a psychotic killer, just as he's about to embark on a violent murder spree. Your goal as the killer is to slay as many victims as possible during your time alive.

So, this is you:
Oh God, you're ugly.

Your weapons: a knife and some pipebombs. You need to kill as many people as possible. You start with civilians only. If you stab them they'll run around for  bit and then they'll keep walking as nothing happened (what the hell man, really). Eventually, cops will show up.

You can heal yourself and pick up pipe bombs, so you can really go on forever. Here's a video of the gameplay:

Enjoy!

Let's Play: League of Legends

Ok, I've been delaying my quick reviews long enough. It's time for some PC goodness. I present to you, League of Legends.

So far, so good. The logo looks nice.

Some stuff from Wikipedia:

League of Legends is a video game inspired by the Defense of the Ancients (DotA) map forWarcraft III: The Frozen Throne[2] developed and published by Riot Games for Microsoft Windows.[3] It was first announced on October 7, 2008, and released on October 27, 2009.[4]The game was in a closed beta from April 10, 2009, to October 22, 2009.[5] It then transitioned to open beta until release.

Ok, basically you are a summoner and you control a champion. Every champion has unique abilities. You have to fight against other champions in a 3v3 or a 5v5, it depends on the map you choose (LoL currently has two): Twisted Treeline or Summoner's Rift.

I'll try to explain more about the game in the following posts. In the mid time, you can try it out for yourself (it's free). The game has tutorials and stuff to help you get started:

Peace!
